This antique copy of Joseph Roth’s 1934 Novel “Der Antichrist” is one of the original German copies, published the same year it was finished. This literary work is known as part novel, part essay, part biographical account, and a cautionary tale of the unraveling moral fiber of its time in Europe and the “Modern” world during Roth’s exile from Germany and Austria during the rise of Nazism.
